I made this video to highlight and showcase some of the shooting, filming, and video editing skills that I’ve developed over many years of working in the video industry. Lots of the video was shot and edited here in Key West Florida and you’ll notice the voiceover audio from Alan Watts. Enjoy.
Likely one of my personal favorite videos that I’ve had the pleasure of producing, the Rodriguez Cigar company of Key West has a gorgeous setting to film in. We made this video over the course of three days and I’m really pleased with how it came out in the end. You don’t have to be a cigar aficionado to appreciate the elegance of this small promotional video.
There's a lot more to it than just snapping a photo. This short video highlights some of the fun, stressful, emotional, artistic, technical, and historic things that happen behind the scenes on a project like this. Thomas Filipkowski set out to document the many changing faces of Key West as part of his Heads Up Key West portrait series, and it has been an absolute pleasure for me to be able to document the process along the way. We plan to continue to add to this video in the future when we'll have more footage of the gallery viewing at @The Studios of Key West and a few other bonuses. For now though, enjoy this fun little video of one of the best things about Key West, the artistic personality of this colorful little island town. Big thanks to Marky Pierson, Florence Nebbout, Wonderdog Studios, Tom Flip, and everyone who participated on this project. Long live the Conch Republic
I'm more than pleased to be sharing this, even more so, privileged to have been a part of this project. Even for just the few days I could be there, this team showed me what it really means to be an active, researching, experienced scientist. Big shout out and thank you to Elliot and Kim Huguenard for having me to come document this amazing team. There are few things I've ever done that were nearly this adventurous and meaningful in a scientific way; and I've done a lot of adventurous things in my day.
Maine is one of the more beautiful places I've ever been in my life. Having been all over the world as a military child and then a travel video producer too, Maine really stands out to me as one of the few untouched places left in our country.
I am really quite pleased to be sharing this video highlighting our good friend Romi Burianova. Romi is a wonderfully talented photographer located in Key West FL at the time of this writing. For this project she was working on, she gave me the lucky chance to come document the process which you can watch in this artist spotlight video I filmed and edited. Things really came together nicely and I got the chance to work with a whole group of people who are all very talented and full of inspiration. To have the opportunity to be in that moment in time is really something special to me. Please enjoy this mini doc I produced and check out more of Romi's work - www.romiburian.com
I have to give a massive THANK YOU to all the lovely friends who made this possible Romi Burianova, Marie Fialova, Miro Vavra, Stephen Ewashko, Nina Newton, Aaron Newton, Elle Fernandez, Mata Hari, Jaclyn Lee, Talie Ayers, and to anyone else that I might have missed, thank you.
